Glens Falls, NY - Coming to Mean Max Brew Works, October 5th, are three local acts: Phil Camp, Lucas Garrett, and Hasty Page. The night will be dedicated to showcasing some of the region’s original music acts.
A local musician whose career spans forty years, Phil Camp is a co-founding member of the Joe Mama Band. When not performing with his band, Phil can be seen performing regularly as a solo artist throughout the area.
Lucas Garrett has played professionally for over seven years. In this time, he has incorporated his blend of progressive rock, folk, and indie to create a unique style that audiences enjoy time and time again. His newly formed trio, featuring Gina DeNardo on drums and Kevin Kosach on bass, is bringing about a whole new engaging aspect to Lucas’ live shows. Performing in local coffeehouses, television appearances, and playing at such theaters as Charles Wood in Downtown Glens Falls, Little Theater on the Farm in Fort Edward, and the Hudson River Music Hall and Strand Theater in Hudson Falls, Lucas has become a fixture on the local scene. On January 20th, 2017, Lucas released his debut EP, "Evening's Come, But It's Not Dark," and began recording his follow-up album in April of 2018.
Hasty Page is a group of innovative musicians from Upstate New York that came together to create an exciting, inspirational new sound for their fans. Their original music paints a theatrical image through the use of creative lyrics and intricate musicianship. Josh Morris, Zane Agnew and James Paolano formed the group in November, 2015, and have since then released an EP, “The Coming of Age,” and a full length album, “Distance.” They have played over 100 shows in and around New York’s Capitol Region, including several at Jupiter Hall, Move Music Festival 2016/2017, and Pearlpalooza 2017.
Show starts at 7:30pm, and doors open at 7:00pm. A 21+ show, this is an event not advised to miss out on, and definitely won’t soon be forgotten.
